Dee's Kitchen opened in June 2008 and operates in a NC Department of Agriculture certified facility. Deborah Ulmer is the owner and operator. She has over 20 years of professional baking experience. In 1998, she graduated from Johnson & Wales University with honors in Baking and Pastry Arts. After attending a life-changing program, Deborah converted Dee's Kitchen to a fully vegan bakery in October 2015.
Dee's Kitchen provides fresh, from scratch baked goods using high-quality ingredients. All of our products are vegan (no dairy, eggs, honey or any other animal-derived product); mostly organic and non-GMO; contain all whole grains; have no added oils and use raw or unrefined low glycemic sugars. DK also caters to the needs of a gluten or allergen free lifestyle.
